Preseason 48 Schedule

Preseason Schedule is as follows:

  • Advance to Pre-Week 2: 11:59 PM Eastern Tuesday 02/26
  • Advance to Pre-Week 3: 8 PM Eastern Wednesday 02/27
  • Advance to Pre-Week 4: 10 PM Eastern Wednesday 02/27
  • Advance to Regular Season: 11:59 PM Eastern Wednesday 02/27

Do not sign ANY FA on Tuesday! Make sure to cut down your roster to 63 (53 plus 10 practice squad players) by Wednesday night.

If you have roster minimums you need to fill contact an admin and they will supply you with a really bad player from FA (no handouts, so don’t think just because you don’t have a punter you get the best in FA).

FA Rules

We will NOT be doing a FA draft this preseason. Instead, we will bid on players. The best contract gets the player!

This will take into account contract length, bonus amount and salary amount. Winning contracts will be posted Tuesday night at 11:59 PM Eastern. These players will be reserved to that team until advance to the regular season – if not signed they’re fair game week 1 of the regular season.

Offseason 47 Schedule

Congrats to Warren on his 19-3 EOTP Madden Bowl XLVII victory over yours truly!

We’ll tentatively be following the below schedule for the offseason. I will be tagging everybody in chat to update you on the schedule as we advance.

If everybody completes their re-signings quickly we’ll be able to advance to free agency early.

RE-SIGNINGS

We will be advancing past re-signs Saturday (02/23) night at 11:59 PM Eastern.

For this offseason, the maximum contract length you can offer is five years.

  • The maximum contract length allowed is five years

Admins will be watching bids prior to every advance to ensure these three rules are followed. Any players signed to contracts that violate these rules must be immediately released.

ROOKIE DRAFT

The 2021 NFL Draft will be held at 9:00 PM Eastern on Monday Feb. 25.

Remember that all trades require approval from the committee so be prepared for late trades to take some time to be approved.

Changes Coming to EOTP Madden

As most of you are aware, we’ve taken a few days to re-evaluate our rules and league membership since the Super Bowl was played.

The big news is we have re-written much of the rules in a much needed update. Every member must read and agree to the new rules. I would recommend taking the time now to go over the rules thoroughly and indicate in the announcements thread of Discord that you understand and agree to abide by the guidelines.

We have also removed some inactive users and freed up spots for new users. Coordinating with the shutdown of Laces Out Football League, we will be bringing over a few trustworthy people for EOTP.

I’ll have a further update on the offseason schedule as soon as everybody has indicated they have read the rules and our new members have joined.

A FEW NOTES

Regression Has Been Updated

Seeing as we’re in the playoffs and development regression has already happened, it’s about time our revised regression system was posted.

To see the full specifics and to submit regression review please see the Player Regression page.

As a rough overview, development regression now happens as soon as the season ends – most of you should have noticed this by now by looking at your roster and specific player cards. These regressions will be immediately available for review!

The typical ratings regression will happen as soon as we advance past the Super Bowl and may be a shock for some people as it’s much more aggressive than in Madden 18 in some areas.

We will be reviewing both rating regression and development regression. I will leave the regression page to fully explain it as everyone will need to submit properly if they want to have their players reviewed.
