Preseason 43 Schedule & FA Draft

Preseason Schedule is as follows:

  • Advance to Pre-Week 2: 11:59 PM Eastern Wednesday 2/07
  • Advance to Pre-Week 3: 8 PM Eastern Thursday 2/08
  • Advance to Pre-Week 4: 10 PM Eastern Thursday 2/08

Do not sign ANY FA on Wednesday unless you select them in the FA draft. Make sure to cut down your roster to 63 (53 plus 10 practice squad players) by Thursday night.

If you have roster minimums you need to fill contact an admin and they will supply you with a really bad player from FA (no handouts, so don’t think just because you don’t have a punter you get the best in FA).

FA Draft order will snake and first round is in the rookie draft order (before trades). I will start skipping people (quickly) at 9 PM Eastern on Wednesday. Send in lists if you will not be around. I will not be picking players for anybody or waiting around tonight.

Offseason 42 Schedule

Congrats to Camp on his 13-10 EOTP Madden Bowl XLII victory over Yao!

We’ll be following the below schedule for the offseason. I will be tagging everybody in chat to update you on the schedule as we advance.

We will be advancing past re-signs Sunday (2/04) night at 11:59 PM Eastern.

Get your bids in early and often leading up to the first advance if you’re really worried about losing out on players – many high profile players now sign on the first FA advance.

All listed advances are within 15 minutes of the posted time to avoid blatant sniping.

  • First Advance: Monday (2/05) 8 PM Eastern
  • Second Advance: Mon. 10 PM Eastern
  • Third Advance: Mon. 11:59 PM Eastern

The 2021 NFL Draft will be held at 9:00 PM Eastern on Tuesday Feb. 6.

The first round I will be giving people 5 minutes per pick if they want it to negotiate trades. If you want to pick quicker feel free. Each round after that I will skip people who either A) did not show for their first round pick or B) did not RSVP for the draft and are not active in the chat at the time. Rounds 2-7 will proceed at normal pick clock.

Remember that all trades require approval from the committee so be prepared for late trades to take some time to be approved. Additionally I will be at work until part of the way through the first round so the other admins will be running the start of the draft.

These past few weeks we’ve launched our second league, Laces Out Football. The idea behind Laces Out is to maintain activity, grow our community and provide an additional pool of players to fill open teams when necessary.

In addition we’ll be testing out new things more frequently in Laces Out before applying these changes to the main league. I would appreciate that as many people as possible participate to ensure that Laces Out is a success and will further our goals as a league.
